Woodlands Aquatics Centre has everything you would need for a successful outdoor water gardening project, from preformed ponds & waterfalls to pond pumps & filters. During the season there is a vast range of coldwater fish including Koi Carp, Goldfish, Orfe and Sturgeon, as well as a fine selection of water lilies and marginal plants.

They’re not just aesthetically pleasing, these are the best oxygenating plants for your fish pond.
Lilies transform your pond to a plant painting. Their leaves shade the water helping to keep it crystal clear, provide shelter for your fish and reduce algae. If you’ve created a shallow trench as a water feature, they can even help keep it clean. Lilies like still, calm water, so won’t thrive if positioned near fountains that could splash onto their lilypad.
Choose pink lilies for an injection of colour and white for Claude Monet-inspired serenity. Dwarf lilies, miniature or pygmy lilies are best planted with the crown at least 10 cm below the water surface to protect them from frost. Large lilies can go to a maximum depth of 1.5 m or more. If leaves rise high above the surface, remove the old ones allowing space for new leaves to lie down on the water surface.
